The game has been heavily promoted by SEGA with an animated series as they did with Sonic Mania. Team Sonic Racing will be relasing on on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
There are a lot of new additions that can be seen if you look for them hard enough. Some fans might recognize some of the tracks as they have been used in games like Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing. This can add a layer of depth to the game as players now have to take modifications into consideration in order to have the best car for the race.įinally, the trailer is accompanied by multiple tracks that are inspired by Sonic The Hedgehog locations. However, some of the customization options also involve different components that change different stats. Players will be able to fully customize their vehicles with multiple cosmetic features. Another big emphasis of the Team Sonic Racing trailer is focused on the car customization system. It also briefly describes the Online feature of the game. The Team Sonic Racing trailer shows a lot more than just a few races. Of course, that just isn’t everything this game will be about. The Team Sonic Racing trailer shows Sonic and his friends and enemies competing. However, it’s more than enough to showcase everything players should expect. The trailer itself is only a minute long. SEGA released a new Team Sonic Racing launch trailer which will make fans even more excited than before. As such, SEGA decided to rekindle the hype flames once more with a new trailer for the game. Team Sonic Racing brings us back to the Sonic Racingverse, and Im sure Im in the minority, but this is that Game Content I crave. If you’ve never jumped into the Sonic Racing series, the collection for Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed is currently available on Steam for $19.99 USD. Team Sonic Racing will release on May 21, 2018, for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Three new courses that were announced during the show: the Wisp Circuit, Market Street, and Ice Mountain tracks. Some of those are reworks of previous tracks that have been seen in the Sonic Racing series of games, but there are plenty of new locales as well. If you’re looking for variety, the team has created a total of 21 tracks for this title. There are a number of different courses in Sonic Team Racing, and the vignette showed off a few of these during the segment. However, you can also create a “more aggressive team like Power, Power, Power.” Courses Galore The most “standard” team makeup is to include one character from each one of the classes. Additionally, each plays an important role when creating your team. He noted that each one of the characters falls into three different categories: Power, Technique, and Speed. Iizuka shed a little more information regarding the characters and their abilities.
The producer on the game, Takahashi Iizuka, revealed more details during the Tokyo Games Show. Since being revealed at E3 2018, the reception was fairly mixed due to its kid-friendly focused gameplay style, so much that Sega announced moving the release date for the game. There was some uneasiness when it came to introducing Team Sonic Racing, though. That game was the closest thing you could get to a universal Mario Kart style experience.
